A leading multinational logistics company is urgently seeking a PROGRAMMER ANALYST to join its IT Team in Jakarta.

PROGRAMMER ANALYST

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The selected candidate will become a member of the company’s IT Application Development and Support Team, providing on-going IT support for existing and new applications in Jakarta and/or locations outside Jakarta.
• Liaise with local/overseas IT teams, clients and users.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years hands-on work experience in programming and systems analysis.
• Fast learner, hard-worker with pleasing personality and good inter-personal skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements, carry-out system development and modifications, create and maintain system and user documentation/guides etc.
• Programming experience in a logistics environment will be an added benefit.
• Working knowledge of English.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Proven work experience in:
  • Visual Basic, Visual Studio and .Net.
  • MS SQL Server 2000.
  • Crystal Report design and development.
  • Knowledge of EDI, FTP/sFTP, XML and Citrix will be an added benefit.
  • Hands-on knowledge of RF scanners and barcoding will also be an added benefit.
  • MS Office and hardware/software troubleshooting.
