You have probably noticed that I like Tine K's striped cups as I have them everywhere. The reason that I'm mentioning them is that they were actually the inspiration for this new pot-cover that I have knitted... Last week I bought some brass candle holders and a orange pot at a goodwill store here in Oslo. { DIY: Wooden letter }

This has to be the easiest DIY project I´ve ever done, but still a good "money saving" project. I had some wooden plank leftovers after the shelf that I recently made, so I simply glued two of the planks together with super glue and made the letter L, and then I painted it with chalkboard paint so I can decorate it or write on it as well. Imagine a huge letter in the hallway with messages etc. -

I was knitting a scarf during the holidays, but after 1/3 of the scarf I thought that maybe I could use it around vases or pots instead.Here you have the result...I used the same cable stitch pattern as I used on the pillow that I made.
