We are reinforcing our logistics process, and we are creating the following position:
LOGISTICS MANAGER
Job Reference: "LM"
RESPONSIBILITIES: To plan and coordinate supply chain processes to ensure quality of deliveries and customers satisfaction, to ensure low cost and efficiency of the storage and movements of finished products. Main tasks: - To arrange daily deliveries to all distributors (truck ordering, goods allocation & distribution)
- To ensure our logistics capacity (transporters, loaders…) is well adapted to our needs.
- To ensure the trucks loading time is always optimized, and optimize permanently our loading process with the goal of making it always faster and more efficient for cost saving
- Review & approve the transporters invoices, DN, CN, NCR, stock movements, new products & prices, claim letters
- To store well and maintain our finished products stock, inventories and quality, by performing FIFO management and adapted storage conditions and space allocation
- To coordinate with our Commercial Department the preparation of the weekly production planning
- To arrange the finished products stock takings & be responsible of their results.
KPI’s and reporting: - To monitor, control and optimize permanently our logistics costs thanks to the implementation of the adapted KPI’s
- To follow-up the adapted KPI’s for measuring our logistics performance: e.g. loading time, delivery time to customers, delay between delivery request and delivery, completion of deliveries (service rate) per product line, trucks filling ratio, etc.
- To prepare the Delivery Performance Reports.
Safety at work: - To make sure that our loading processes and equipments are safe for our employees so that we avoid any incident or accident.
REQUIREMENTS: - Male preferred.
- 30-35 years old.
- Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. Candidate with Bachelor’s degree in Economy or Management or equivalent with proven track record in Logistics Management can be considered.
- Minimum 3 years in Logistics Management, ideally for an international company (PMA).
- English is a must (both spoken & written).
- Good knowledge in supply chain management, computer & ERP
- Good knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 management systems.
- Strong leadership, “commercial sense”, diplomacy & negotiation skills, organised and responsive.
